  Our fiscal year end is December.

  UEMB has more than 2,000 professional and technical personnel in Malaysia and abroad.

1) Which year was UEM listed and on which stock exchange?
  UEM was listed on 1 November 1990 on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
   
2) What is the par value of each share and the present amount of outstanding shares?
  The par value of each share is RM1.00. Present shares issued are 963,868,902 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each.
   
3) Who is the Company's largest shareholder?
  Our largest shareholders (as at 30 March 2007) is UEM World Berhad, with a holding of 51.7%
   
4) What is the Company's shareholding structure?
  As at 5 October 2007, Malaysians: 90.29% and Foreigners: 9.71%
   
5) Is there a formalised dividend policy?
  There is a policy to declare dividend annually. The quantum of dividend is subject to availability of tax credit and available surplus cash.
   
6) What is the company's dividend history?
  2006 - 1.5 sen
2005 - 1.0 sen
2004 - 2.5 sen
   
7) What is the return on investment for a UEM's shareholder?
  For the past two years, return on investment for shareholder were -ve (i.e. -4% for 2006 and -49% for 2005) due to the losses arising from provisions in foreign associated company and provision for foreseeable losses in respect of overseas contracts.
